Dropout from U.S. market by several content providers damps value of Flipps HD as a companion for Apple TV. The latest design offers more functionality, although it begins to grow crowded again. Integration with Control Center is a nice fit, although the later integration with networked TV’s doesn’t quite work right. With Apple TV, it no longer wakes up the device as it previously did. If Apple TV is already awake, it still often cannot connect. You’ll need to select from iPhone’s Apple TV interface (by swiping from the bottom). Even then, sometimes it becomes quirky, and you need to force a “mirror screen” even though that is not your intention - and it is not the result. When there is an ad before the movie begins, things get even more complicated. You cannot make any device selection during an ad. Flipps has gone a long way from iMediaShare Lite. It had good days, but I’m no longer sure how valuable it is today.

When ever I am playing any video, it is play only sound but no video. I tried several times, I tried on WiFi, I tried on 4G as well, in iPhone 6, with updated version. Kindly help me out.

The app doesnt work and the only thing that said is something about the wifi and I am connected to the WiFi :/

Please, do not waste your time with trying to buy a pay per view on this app. You wont be able to watch it until a full day later, and the live feed buffers every 5 seconds.

Plz add A little princess to this app. I love the movie but I cant watch it, plz add it.

I ordered a PPV last night and was shocked that it didn’t crap out at some point and it looked great on my 60” TV. Having used other similar services such as GFL that rarely work without a hitch, I was impressed that Flipps was as good as if I had ordered the PPV from my cable provider.

If Apple TV is already awake, it still cannot connect. There are two confusing and conflicting device selecting icons on the upper right corner. The two of them must be selected to use Apple TV or Flipps won’t. Most probably you’ll need to select from iPhone’s Apple TV interface (by swiping from the bottom). Even then, sometimes it becomes quirky, and you need to force a “mirror screen” even though that is not your intention - and it is not the result. When there is an ad before the movie begins, things get even more complicated. The advertisement always starts right away on iPhone. You cannot make any device selection during an ad. Another new problem is the crowded user interface, both “home screen” and in channels. Flipps has gone a long way from iMediaShare Lite, where the interface used to be very clean. It then got crowded, and cleaned up. But it is even more crowded than before. It had good days, but I’m no longer sure how valuable it is today.

I dont know how u can do it,but I love being able to watch things directly on my home tv!You have a large amount of UFC fights and other things I like.Often u have something that Netflix doesnt!!And Im wasting money on that!!I just found the exact naked and afraid episode I wanted to watch so thank you.My cables on demand didnt even have it,neither did Netflix!!The only complaint would be sometimes you cant actually watch it when u click on it,but it works more than often enough if u put slight effort into looking!Thank u!Im poor and this provides me with a service I would never have otherwise! :)

I spent 14.99 US dollars to watch MMA platinum gloves. I tried on both LTE and on Wifi but was unsuccessful. At certain points, it was streamable but choppy at best. I do not recommend this app to anyone.

Ive used this app to try and watch several wrestling shows. Its buggy, laggy, and has a clunky GUI.

Needs to at least continue playing when app is in background. Requires almost constant attention to keep this app running, very annoying. Otherwise works well with Samsung Smart TV.

New update screwed up the app more!

Great update! When a video is over it now closes and goes back to the selection menu. This is an awesome app.

The app says theres no internet connection although all the other apps got the connection without any problem.

What is the point if you already have your tv connected to the Internet?

Excellent option for video streaming.
